Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 20, 2026
BetaTools (betatools.xyz) is a free directory for readers. It takes real work to research, verify and review new AI tools every day, and affiliate partnerships are one of the ways we can keep the site running. This page explains exactly how that works, in plain language, so you always know where you stand.
Some Links Are Affiliate or Sponsored Links
Some of the outbound links on BetaTools — for example, a “Visit Website” button on a tool listing — may be affiliate links or sponsored links. That means if you click one of those links and later sign up for or buy that tool, we may earn a commission or receive another benefit from the tool’s company or an affiliate network.
Where a listing has a sponsored or affiliate relationship, we mark it. The directory’s listing format includes a clear indication when a website link is a sponsored or affiliate link, so you can see it before you click.
It Costs You Nothing Extra
Using an affiliate link never increases the price you pay. The price, plans and offers you see on a tool’s official website are exactly the same whether you arrived there from our link or typed the address yourself. In some cases, a tool may even offer readers a better deal through a partner link — but the price is never higher because of us.
It Never Buys a Good Review
This is the most important part: commissions never affect our reviews. Specifically:
- We write what our research on the tool’s official website actually shows — features, pricing, strengths and weaknesses alike.
- Every review includes honest cons, not just selling points.
- A tool cannot pay to get listed, to improve its review, to change its pros and cons, or to rank above another tool in our editorial content.
- If a tool has no affiliate programme, it still gets the same detailed review treatment as one that does.
- Sponsored placements, where they exist, are marked as sponsored and kept separate from our editorial verdict.
If we would not recommend a tool without a commission, we do not recommend it with one.
Not Every Link Earns Us Anything
Most links on BetaTools are ordinary links. We list many tools that have no affiliate programme at all, and we link to every reviewed tool’s official website regardless of whether it pays us. Being listed and reviewed depends on the tool being genuinely new, useful and verifiable — not on a commercial relationship.
Why We Disclose This
We believe in the same transparency expected by advertising and consumer-protection standards, including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and affiliate marketing. If money changes hands anywhere between a tool and BetaTools, you deserve to know before you click. That is also why sponsored listings are labelled on the listing itself, not just on this page.
Your Choice
If you would rather not use an affiliate link, that is completely fine. Simply visit the tool’s official website directly by typing its name into your browser or a search engine. You will get the same tool, at the same price, and you are still welcome to use our reviews to decide.
Questions
If anything about a listing’s commercial relationship is unclear, ask us through our Contact page and we will explain it.
